Region 12 Child Care Resource & Referral

Regional CCR&R activities provide leadership and support for local child care resource and referral services in R&R Region 12, which includes Alexander, Ashe, Iredell, Watauga and Wilkes counties.  R&R services typically include referrals to families looking for child care as well as technical assistance and/or training for child care providers to start up or improve the quality of care.  The North Carolina Division of Child Development funds this initiative to ensure all families and child care providers have access to high quality R&R programs.

Contact information for local R&R agencies:
Child care providers are encouraged to attend workshops and conferences in any of the five Region 12 counties.  Contact the appropriate “hosting” agency for more information.
