Region 9 Child Care Resource & Referral

Regional CCR&R activities provide leadership and support for local child care resource and referral services in R&R Region 9, which includes Alexander, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Iredell, McDowell, Mitchell, Watauga and Yancey Counties.  R&R services typically include referrals to families looking for child care as well as technical assistance and/or training for child care providers to start up or improve the quality of care.  The North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education funds this initiative to ensure all families and child care providers have access to high quality R&R programs.

Contact information for local R&R agencies:
Child care providers are encouraged to attend workshops and conferences in any of the nine Region 9 counties. Contact the appropriate “hosting” agency for more information.
