We know that parents are a child’s first and most important teacher.  We also know that being a parent is hard work.  Parents As Teachers is a free home visiting program with a research-based curriculum for parents, grandparents, or other primary care givers. “PAT” will customize your visits to fit your family’s needs.  We will discuss parent-child interactions, development-centered parenting topics, and family well- being.

Your Certified Parent Educators will help you understand child development and connect you to resources that you may need. They provide age-appropriate activities, books, and encouragement.  PAT is available for families with children, pre-natal – age 5 years.

Our Certified Parent Educators:

Marnie Reber –

Visits are conducted Monday-Friday, between 8:30a.m.-5:00 p.m. based on parent schedule; they typically last about one hour.

GROUP CONNECTION meetings are offered monthly and at various locations throughout the county. These gatherings are an opportunity for families to meet new friends and discuss topics and strategies for successful child development and family well-being.
