Child Care Solutions is a child care resource and referral service of
the Iredell County Partnership for
Young Children, designed to:
Educate and refer parents to a range of child care options:
Family Child Care Homes
Child Care Centers
Preschools and Mother's Morning Out Programs
After school care
Legally Operating Child Care Arrangements
Train and offer technical assistance for child care providers:
Workshops
Recruitment of New Providers
Facilitate Provider Support Groups
Provide consultation on child care regulations and quality issues
Consult with employers concerned with child care problems of their
workplace
Encourage community awareness of child care issues
Collects data about child care needs and services
Conveys information about local supply and demand
Increases community Involvement

Vision: All child care centers in
Iredell County will achieve five star rating status and NAEYC
accreditation.
Mission: The Quality Support Specialists provide peer mentoring,
partnership connections, and educational opportunities
to staff of selected Iredell county child care centers through intensive
on-site technical assistance and modeling of
developmentally appropriate practices to ensure a loving, caring,
quality learning community for children (0-5) and families.

Technical Assistance to maintain or raise your star rating

Administering ITERS, ECERS, FDCERS observations to prepare for state
assessments

Coaching and supporting new teachers in your center/home

Creating Professional Development Plans for center/home
staff

Providing valuable information on WAGE$ and the TEACH program

Preparing for the new 2 component license change in January 2008

their child care/home setting.
