NCPK is North
Carolina’s state funded pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds that
Governor Easley
initiated in 2001.
NCPK seeks to promote school readiness for all children.
Iredell County’s
NCPK program is administered by Iredell County Partnership for Young Children and is
will be accepting applications for the 2012/2013 school year March 1st.
Applications will be available online on March 1st.
Children may be eligible for the
free NCPK program if they will be four-years-old by
August 31st of the current
school
year and reside in Iredell County. Parents must complete
an application and
include the following documents:

Child’s birth certificate
¨ Verification of family income
¨
Verification of address
¨
Child’s Medicaid card, if
applicable
¨
Child’s immunization record and
medical form
At this time, all
slots for the 2010/2011 school year are filled. Waiting list forms
may be picked up at any
of the NCPK sites or one
of the following Partnership
locations:

Applications for the
2012-2013 School Year will be available March 1st, 2012. Please check back
at that time to download the application. Or, you may come by the
Partnership's office located at 433 S. Meeting Street, Statesville and take one
with you to complete and return.
