More at Four is North
Carolina’s state funded pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds that
Governor Easley
initiated in 2001.
More at Four seeks to promote school readiness for all children.
Iredell County’s More at Four
program is administered by Iredell County Partnership forYoung Children and is currently accepting applications for the 2010/2011 school year. The
program currently enrolls 323 children.
Children may be eligible for the
free More at Four program if they will be four-years-old by
August 31st of the current
school
year and reside in Iredell County. Parents must complete
an application and
include the following documents:

Child’s birth certificate
¨ Verification of family income
¨
Verification of address
¨
Child’s Medicaid card, if
applicable
¨
Child’s immunization record and
medical form
At this time, all
slots for the 2010/2011 school year are filled. Waiting list forms
may be picked up at any
of the More at Four sites or one
of the following Partnership
locations:
